• DarT, as a company was formed in 1991, providing consultancy services. The name was changed in 1998 to reflect the evolving engineering focus of the Company's business, expanding to provide 'scope of work' type programs. During this expansion DarT undertook targeted recruiting, to select high calibre staff who had records of successful achievement in the design, development, manufacture, installation and support of complex communications and surveillance systems, as well as in program management of Defence projects.

• Staff have extensive experience in military HF radar, communications and surveillance technologies. At the project offices, there are more than 40 engineers and technical staff with expertise in systems, software and hardware engineering, and support technicians and draughtpersons. DarT has leading edge expertise in the design and development of wideband, high speed, real-time data acquisition and signal processing systems for communications and surveillance applications.
